What’s in a name!
If coolness can be graded based on a watch’s name then this one would certainly receive top marks.
Sofior Grey Oceanproof, for a vintage diver watch a name just doesn’t get better than that 🙂
This übercool diver dates from the 1960s and is powered by an ETA movement that keeps excellent time and housed in a 36.5 mm steel case that is very likely in all original, unpolished condition. The steel bi-directional bezel rotates with good friction as it should.
The glossy black watch face features applied tritium hour markers that have developed a gorgeous dark cream patina that is matched by the tritium in the hands.
The watch comes with an hand-made Italian leather strap that really enhances the creamy patina of the dial and hands.
